Marshall's Point Guard: Jessica Olson
July 23, 2014, another great day for basketball. I am down here at the Pohnpei National Campus to witness the game between two great teams, Pohnpei vs RMI (women). Pohnpei was able to come out with the victory winning 72 to 63.
Jessica Olson is a 19 year-old Point Guard playing for team RMI. This is her first time in the Micro-games and she started playing basketball because her dad coached a team then.
"It was an enjoyable game," Jessica said. She played hard but was just not getting her shots down. Although it was a lost for them, it still was a really good game for her.
"To all those who will be competing in the Microgames or any kind of game, have fun and enjoy it,"said Olson .
