Stirling Macedonia are the new leaders of the Men's NPL following a comprehensive 5-1 victory at Balcatta Etna in their rescheduled Round Three encounter.

The result moves Stirling three points clear of Perth RedStar.

Alex Tanevski gave the visitors the lead in first-half stoppage time, only for Amir Ajan to level for Balcatta inside two minutes of the second half. After that it was all Stirling as Calvin Whitney, Nikola Talimdzioski, Sam Wynne and Luke Garas broke the hosts’ resistance.

And if that heavy loss was not bad enough for Balcatta, they are now three points adrift at the bottom after Gwelup Croatia's 2-0 win at Cockburn City.

Jason Petrie's two headers gave Gwelup their first win of the season in a match originally scheduled for Round Two.

Balcatta host Gwelup this Saturday.
