Choc Dau and Alex Salmon both bag a brase as Inglewood United hammered Subiaco 4-0 in their PS4 NPLWA fixture on Saturday.

Dau was superb and caused nightmares for the Subiaco defence who had little answer to his skill and pace.

Inglewood coach Andy Keogh was delighted with his sides’ dominant performance as they moved into second place and a point behind leaders Sorrento.

“It was a very comfortable win. The lads were great, they implemented the tactics and game plan down to a ‘t’ and I think we could have had a few more,” he said.

“We’re just taking each game as it comes. The lads are in a good space and enjoying their football.”

Keogh also praised his goal scorers, including Salmon, who is the leagues top marksman with 16 goals.

“Choc (Dau) was immense today and was forever torturing their fullbacks and Alex Salmon was again on the score sheet,” he said.

“It probably wasn’t his best game, but that’s the sign of a good player, and he could have easily had a hat-trick.

Dau sliced through the Subiaco defence on 13 minutes, getting on the end of a give-and-go and calmly sliding the ball past Ryan Montgomery.

Subiaco’s Alex Randell came close to equalising as he unleashed a rocket from outside the box that narrowly flew over the bar.

Dau continued to cause problems on the wing for Inglewood and he capitalised on a defensive mix up to bag his second just five minutes after the break.

Salmon added to his impressive 2017 goal tally in the 72nd minute as he beat the offside trap and lobbed a stranded Montgomery to make it 3-0.

He doubled his tally five minutes later as he rounded the goalkeeper and slotted in to stretch Inglewood’s unbeaten run to 10 games.
