In-form Mikayla Lyons scored her second brace in as many matches as Fremantle City booked a spot in the Women’s NPL Night Series semi-finals.

Lyons’ double and goals from Annabelle Leek and Matilda Boyle gave City a 4-0 win over Curtin University at Edinburgh Oval.

Also through from Group A to the last four are Murdoch University Melville after they also recorded a 4-0 victory on Sunday.

Last season’s league champions had too much for Subiaco, with Tia Stonehill (2), Poppie Hooks and Sadie Lawrence on target.

In Group B, Balcatta sit top following a fine 4-2 win over Perth SC on Friday night.

Christiane Astorp was the star of the show at Dorrien Gardens. The Balcatta striker scored a hat-trick while Cassandra Harvey got her side’s other. Jamie Duncanson scored both of Perth’s goals.

Hyundai NTC and Northern Redbacks shared the points after they fought out a 1-1 draw.

Olivia Trueman put NTC in front on 11 minutes, with Renee Leota equalising for Redbacks six minutes from the end.

With one round to play, Balcatta are top with three points from two matches, NTC and Redbacks have two points while Perth SC are on one.
