Michael Domfeh scored twice as Perth SC won consecutive games for the first time in 2020 with a 4-2 away victory at Rockingham City.

The 2019 Golden Boot winner struck either side of the break to give the Azzuri a 3-0 lead after Gustavo Catarcione's first NPLWA Men's goal of the season.

Yagoub Mustafa bagged his first league goal this term too, as the visitors' efficiency in front of goal proved to be the difference.

Blake Sokolowski and Mitch Gruin scored for Rockingham as they kept the Azzurri honest.

Last year's league and Top Four Cup double winners have been slow out of the blocks since the restart but buoyed by last weekend's late show at Inglewood they started confidently at SafeRad Stadium.

They went ahead on 18 minutes when Brazilian Catarcione collected Sasa Njegic's pass and expertly found the bottom corner to score for the first time since Round 17 last year.

A long-range drive from Luke Collins' and Jason Pottier's volley over the bar were Rockingham's best chances of the first 45 minutes, but they were made to pay for those missed opportunities in the shadows of half-time.

Njegic pulled the strings again with a perfectly weighted ball slipped through for Domfeh, who finished with aplomb to score for a third consecutive game and put Perth two-up at the break.

Domfeh then bagged his fourth goal of the season eight minutes into the second half when he nodded in Alex Silla's cross following a nice team move.

The home fans had something to cheer midway through the second half when Dylan Rogers' piledriver cannoned off the bar and landed at the feet of Sokolowski, who sidefooted in for 3-1.

Mustafa made the win certain with 10 minutes remaining as he scored for the first time since March's Night Series Final with a left-footed finish past Brad Stout.

There was still time for a late consolation as substitute Gruin scored a first senior goal of the season, but it was Perth's day as they ended a three-game road stretch with three points.

Gwelup Croatia maintained their three-point cushion at the summit of the Men's NPL with a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Balcatta.

Adam Zimarino got the final touch on Calum O'Connell's 13th minute corner to put the home side ahead, before Jon Corness capitalised on Conor Campbell's fumble to strike for a third consecutive home game and make it 2-0.

Gwelup are the league's top scorers, though, and they pulled one back before the break when Daniel Stynes' shot deflected in to the path of brother Jon, who finished confidently into the far corner.

Any threat of an upset against the only remaining unbeaten side was quashed early in the second half when Sean McManus turned home an equaliser with his first league goal for the club.

And the comeback was complete in the 68th minute when Blair Govan bundled home at the back post to bag his first goal since returning to the NPL from Victoria.

Campbell made up for his earlier fumble in the final 15 minutes with a fine near post save to thwart Christos Vaenas' shot, before claiming bravely after an almighty goalmouth scramble, as Gwelup held on for a fifth win in six games.

2019 Belt Up Cup winners Floreat Athena bounced back from last week's defeat against Gwelup with a 2-1 win over ECU Joondalup at E&D Litis Stadium to remain second.

The afternoon didn't start well for the home side as Danny Hodgson bagged his fifth goal of the season when he volleyed home unmarked at the back post.

Andy Higgins' free-kick sailed narrowly over the bar later in the half, but Floreat got to half-time just one down and were able to turn it around in the second half.

They had to wait until the 62nd minute to equalise as Nick Ambrogio's rising strike flew in via a kiss off the underside of the crossbar.

It was 2-1 five minutes later as Noah Shamaki scored for the first time since Round Two when he went through on goal and finished past an advancing Johnny Perkins.

This was ECU's third straight loss and they are now down to ninth.

Sorrento moved back into the top six thanks to a hat-trick from Golden Boot race leader Cameron Teece in a 4-2 win over Inglewood United.

Teece opened the scoring in the 34th minute when he beat Alex Dunn to a long ball and prodded past the goalkeeper. However, the lead lasted only three minutes as Chris Jackson rifled in an equaliser when through on goal.

Former ECU Joondalup and Perth striker Teece then struck a goal of the season contender as he picked up the ball 30 yards from goal, turned away from Anthony Bafobusha and thundered a long-range effort into the top corner.

Jackson was determined to keep pace with Teece, though, and he equalised for last year's Top Four Cup grand finalists with an opportune header from close range to tie the scores at 2-2.

Despite being pegged back twice, the Gulls went ahead for a third time as Czech midfielder Jakub Prajza scored for a second consecutive week with a stunning volley to rival Teece's earlier screamer.

But Teece would have the final say as he ran through on goal and dinked over Dunn to score a league leading ninth goal in six games and complete a second treble in season 2020.

Nine-man Bayswater City held off a late fightback from Armadale to record a third win in four games, which helped them leapfrog their rivals for the top six.

Jason Mirco scored his first NPL WA goal since June last year in first-half stoppage time with a well-taken strike across Cyril Sharrock.

It was a lively afternoon at Alfred Skeet Reserve and the drama heightened with 17 minutes to play when Steve Hesketh's handball was punished with a second yellow card for the Bayswater player.

Despite being a player down, Bayswater kept numbers forward and were rewarded when Jack Allen diverted a long ball across the face of goal and Mirco was on hand to stab in his second from close range.

The away side looked home at that point but they had to endure a nervy final few minutes after David Stokoe received a straight red card for a clash with Joshua Cortes.

The resulting penalty was dispatched by Angel Andres Rivera for his eighth goal of the campaign and the former Cockburn striker came closest to equalising when he planted a free-kick wide of the target.

Hartfield Park is becoming a happy home for Perth Glory after they defeated Cockburn City 1-0 and passed their opponents and move up to third in the NPL WA Men's competition.

The youngsters have taken maximum points from their three games at the home of Forrestfield United and the latest win was thanks to Bryce Bafford's fifth goal of the season.

Bafford was on hand to scramble home the game's only goal from a yard out after Ciaran Bramwell's initial shot squirmed under Cockburn stopper Luke Radonich.

Cockburn must have known it was not going to be their day when Fanuel Dawit had the ball in the back of the net with 15 minutes to play, but the referee's whistle had already been blown with a penalty awarded to the visitors. Kristian Santich stepped up, but Sam Reilly guessed correctly to keep the ball out and preserve Glory's points.

It was an important win ahead of a tough run for Glory with next weekend's trip to play Sorrento in Albany's Regional Festival of Football sandwiched between heavyweight clashes with Floreat and Perth SC.
