Women's NPL starts on July 5

The inaugural NPLW WA competition will begin with a full complement of matches on Sunday, July 5.

Fremantle City, who won the Women’s Night Series final in March and are one of the favourites for the title, begin their campaign at Perth SC.

Always strong Northern Redbacks are another who should go close. They host Subiaco at Kingsway Reserve.

The other opening round games see Murdoch University Melville take on Balcatta, while Curtin University face Hyundai NTC.

The eight-team competition will be played over 14 rounds.
