Northern Redbacks and Hyundai NTC reached the NPL – Women’s Night Series semi-finals after a Round Three goalfest on Saturday.

Both teams needed a draw in their respective games to join already-qualified Murdoch University Melville and Fremantle City in the last four.

And while NTC got exactly that against Balcatta, Redbacks left nothing to chance in thrashing Subiaco 9-0 at Dorrien Gardens.

Larissa Walsh scored four and Jayna Ridley two, while the other goals came from Janelle St Pierre, Aliesha Bennett and Renee Leota.

Redbacks’ opponents in the semis will be Group B winners Fremantle, who maintained their 100% record with a 6-1 win over Curtin University at Edinburgh Oval.

Courtney Butlion grabbed a hat-trick, Annabelle Leek got two and substitute Jayme-Lee Smith the other. Nina Boorman netted for Curtin.

NTC got the point they need with a 2-2 draw against Balcatta.

Carys Davis scored both of NTC’s goals, while Angelique Alberts and Ashleigh Panaia struck for Balcatta.

NTC will take on MUM in the last four. The Group A winners rounded off the group stage with a 4-0 defeat of Perth SC – Ellie La Monte (2), Kate Schubert and Stacey Learmont on target.

Both semi-finals will take place at Dorrien Gardens on Sunday, 1 March.
