The race for the title looked set to be extended by at least another week when Perth Glory’s youth team drew level with Bayswater at Frank Drago Reserve, while second-placed Floreat Athena hit the lead against Perth at Dorrien Gardens.

But Bayswater slipped through the gears to win 4-1 against Glory and Floreat were unable to withstand Perth’s fightback as the home side secured a 5-2 victory.

Delighted Bayswater coach Chris Coyne celebrated a third a title having steered City to top spot in the WA State Premier League in 2013 before dominating the first two seasons of the PS4 NPLWA.
