Hamilton Olympic Achieve Level 1 & 2 FFA National Club Accreditation
Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) National Premier Leagues (NPL) club Hamilton Olympic FC have been presented with their Certificates of Achievement for Level 1 & 2 Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Club Accreditation.
A presentation took place on Sunday 10th August 2014 at 4pm at Darling Street Oval Hamilton before the clubs NPL 1st Grade fixture.
NNSWF Board Member, Helene O’Neill, was on hand to present the club with both their Level 1 & 2 Certificates of Achievement.
In receiving this recognition, Hamilton Olympic become the first club in the NNSWF NPL to achieve both levels and only the second club in Australia to attain Level 2 recognition.
The process of achieving this accreditation involved collaboration with NNSWF Senior Club & Referee Development Officer, Gary Fisher, towards meeting criteria in areas including Coach Education, Club Governance & Management, Volunteer Development, Safety & Risk Management & Future Planning.
‘By gaining a Level 2 Accreditation, Hamilton Olympic FC has taken yet another step towards achieving best practice in the criteria areas and identified the need to continuously improve and provide the best environment for their players and members,’ NNSWF Senior Club & Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher said.
‘As a result, Hamilton Olympic FC has put itself in a better position to retain and recruit players, attract sponsors and attract volunteers,’ Fisher concluded.
