Cam Roberts has been appointed as the new Football Development Manager at AFL South East, replacing Ben O'Brien who departed in December. A Mornington local, Cam brings plenty of football experience to the role at all levels of the game as he commences in his role as of today (March 10).
Having worked in full-time roles with both Collingwood and St Kilda, Cam has also worked part-time in the TAC Cup system and more recently has been employed in local government and recruitment. He has a degree in Business (Commerce) and a Graduate Diploma in Sports Management and a strong understanding of the modern day challenges of a community football club.
For the past 4 years, Cam has been involved in various volunteer roles within the Mt Martha Junior Football Club and is a Committee Member of the "Keep Your Cool" Foundation - a Foundation established in 2013 to promote a positive environments at junior clubs.
Cam joins Michael Roberts (no relation) as the Football Development Manager team at AFL South East and he will be focused on the Frankston and Peninsula zone.
