The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for management of the competitions contained within the South East Football Netball League. This 9 club league encompasses 33 football teams and nearly 100 netball teams across the municipalities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.
Key responsibilities will include:
•League administration
•Competition management
•Financial management and budgeting
•Management of finals and representative matches
•Marketing and promotion
•Facilitate volunteer, club and player education and training
•Assist with infrastructure planning
•Preparation of reports
We seek a self motivated individual with:
•Sports management or suitable work experience in related field/s
•Capacity to influence people and organisations
•Ability to manage demanding workloads and prioritise
•Tertiary qualifications in sports management or business (desired)
•Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
•Proficient knowledge of the important linkages between netball and football within Leagues and Clubs
•Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment
•Highly developed IT skills particularly in Word and Excel
•Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours
•Current Victorian Drivers Licence
