St Kilda FC, as part of the AFL's Community Camp Program, will head to Rosebud and Sorrento on Wednesday February 12 and Thursday February 13. A number of community activities are planned including school and hospital visits, open training sessions, coaches seminars and luncheons.
Highlights of the two day camp include:
Wednesday Feb 12
- Community visit to Focus on Life, Dromana and Rosebud Hospital
- 6 schools visited as well as beach activities at Dromana Beach (2-3pm)
- Superclinic and Coaches Seminar at Olympic Oval, Rosebud (4-6pm)
- Luncheon with Mornington Peninsula Shire Council
Thursday Feb 13
- Open training session at Sorrento FC (10am-12pm)
- Public Lunch (Rosebud Plaza - 1-2pm)
- Community visit to Rosebud Hospital and Peninsula PDS
- AFL Active and AFL 9's interactive sessions at Mt Martha Beach (3-5pm)
Community Camps provide the perfect opportunity for fans to engage with AFL players and coaches in their own backyard for the AFL clubs to establish and maintain strong community relationships.
