The Hoops & Stars Basketball Academies is an 8 week basketball skill development programme for junior representative and club players. The aim of the programme is to teach players how to become a more complete, well-rounded basketballer. 

Cost:
The hoops and stars program under went a review after 2019, and subsequently due to increase operating costs, the programs pricing has changed for 2020. Please see below for updated pricing, and note that the sibling discount is no longer available. 
 
Hoops sessions are $90 per child, per term. 
Stars sessions are $90 per child, per term. 

Hoops and Stars Singlet, is $35. This is a one off purchase. If you already have a singlet from 2019, you do not need to purchase one in 2020. 

Payment: 
Once you have filled out the registration form you will be sent an invoice, or you can pay online using the details below, or make payment during the registration process.

Sessions: 8 Sessions per term 
Day: Wednesdays 
Years: 1-8+ 
Dates: 
Term 1, 2020: 12th February - April 1st 
Term 2, 2020: 6th May - June 24th 
Term 3, 2020: 29th July - September 23rd (note there is no session the first week of September. 
Term 4, 2020: 21st October - December 9th: 

* Players will placed into an appropriate group upon registration, where they will train for the remainder of the programme. However at the Development Manager, George Robinson's discretion, some athletes may be moved to another group to best suit their skill level * 

 

Times: Times may vary from below depending on the numbers of registrations each term and the required court space needed to ensure a positive experience for the kids. 

HOOPS 
Junior Jammers: 5pm-6pm 
Jammers: 6pm - 7pm 
Slammers: 6pm - 7pm 

Note: A Jr Slammers session may be run from 5-6pm if numbers in the yr 5-7 bracket dictate this. This will be confirmed prior to the start of each term. 

STARS 
Rising Stars: 7pm - 8pm 
Shooting Stars: 7pm - 8pm

If registering more than one child, you will need to fill out another registration form. 

At times, NCBA may take photos of the activities, including player participation, for promotional purposes. As part of your enrolment, you agree for your child to be photographed, and for these to be used to promote NCBA and its programmes.
