Ex-Sydney Swans and Carlton player Jason Saddington will continue at the Northern Bullants this year.
Saddington impressed last year at NAB Oval in defence and won the Northern Bullants Best and Fairest.
The 162-game AFL veteran gives the Bullants great leadership both on and off the field.
The number 11 pick in the 1997 AFL National Draft spent eight years and played 142 games with the Sydney Swans before moving to Carlton to play a further 20 games from 2006 to 2008.
Saddington won the Laurie Hill Trophy for the Northern Bullants Best and Fairest, polling 89 votes despite only playing 16 of a possible 21 matches. Saddington played primarily across half-back but also went forward when required and also had a stint on a wing.
