Your unique scholarship for industry experience in Hospitality or Maritime with Australian Cruise Academy will help you to find a job.
Your future job may be a berth on cruise ships, superyachts or beach resorts throughout the world. On successful completion of the internship with a statement of practical experience from the Academy, the ACA Crewing Agency will assist you to find employment.
Scholarships are available to academically qualified graduates (Cert.III - Diploma) in all aspects of cruise ship operations to gain the essential real work experience to complete their qualification. Residence onboard the ships provides full board accommodation in trainee berths and other shipboard benefits in return for a commitment to average 40 hours per week rostered real work experience as a Trainee. Within that time you will be required to undertake some extension units to satisfy the requirements on being a student in training.

If generally agreed to proceed the intern applicant makes a formal request on the form to the Principal by email at principal.aca.academy@gmail.com, for scholarship grant including:
- A summary of their experience by answering questions on the form, (Task book describing required experience may be available)
- A statement that they have read and will comply with the Trainee Expectations
- Two phone referees
- Attach a copy of their qualifications
The principal will consider the application and if approved, will send a formal offer of a scholarship berth on one or perhaps changing to several of the ships.
Volunteer Insurance is in place for all volunteers.
