Enrolments for the first set of winter coaching sessions are starting to add up. It looks like we will have a 5 or 6 boat adult sailor group, a similar number of young Opti sailors and possibly a small number of more advanced Laser sailors
Victorian Youth Sailing Team member Alexander Jurovic and Hobie Tiger World Champion Robbie Lovig will be providing coaching for the first 3 sessions with other coaches being slotted into the roster as this goes to press.

Lynn Dugay and Xavier Vandame will be coordinating the program throughout winter.
Any WYC members and members of other yacht clubs are eligible. You can enter training sessions with an Optimist, your own boat or a WYC Pacer (which the club encourages).
The objectives of the program is Have Fun! but also improve your skills and confidence on the water, an alternative to competing in mixed fleet racing and for those who race regularly during summer, ensure you do not rust during winter!
Some practical information: sessions will be every second Sunday mornings. Drinks and a snack will be provided, on-water training will be cancelled when the wind is over 18knts but will be replaced by on-shore coaching.
If you are interested to join, could you please send an email to Lynn Dugay (landadugay2@bigpond.com) as soon as possible (incl. your expected participation)?
Looking forward to seeing you on the water
