A quick update after the Nacra 17 World Championships
The Nacra 17 Worlds have just finished in The Hague, Netherlands and it was a very mixed event. We had extremely tough conditions through the six day event with races completed on 3 days, the rest being cancelled! Many times we were out for 10 hours in no wind and quite warm temperature. We managed eight races in total and given the tough conditions we were very happy to make Gold Fleet and finish in 22nd place against 65 teams from 24 countries.
We have lots of work ahead of us and can't wait to get our Nacra 17 back on the waters of Westernport Bay.
I have just arrived in San Francisco, CA to start training for the Red Bull Youth Americas Cup which is happening from September 1 - September 4. Don't forget to 'Like' the Objective Australia Facebook page to support and keep up to date.
