James Wiersbowski has had his talent and hard work rewarded with his selection in the Australian team for the Youth America's Cup

The Red Bull Youth America’s Cup will feature sailors aged between 19 and 25, representing 10 nations, competing in the same high performance AC45 catamarans used in the America’s Cup World Series. Team America Racing (representing the USA) and American Youth Sailing Force (representing San Francisco) both have automatic entry into the Youth America’s Cup finals, as do teams from World Series contestants Emirates Team New Zealand, Artemis, Team Korea and China Team. Objective Australia has been announced as Australia's team to compete in the Selection Series for the very first Red Bull Youth America's Cup.
Other members of the team include Tom Burton, the 2012 ISAF World Cup Laser Champion and understudy to Olympic Champion Tom Slingsby; Josh McKnight, the current World Moth Champion; and Jordan Reece, Oliver Tweddell, Luke Parkinson, Keiran Searle and Jason Waterhouse.
