Futsal Toowoomba invite you to express interest in becoming a qualified Football Federation of Australia Futsal referee. Please contact our office and we will let you know when the next course is on offered office@fqsouthwest.com
Futsal Toowoomba will facilitate courses for new Futsal referee's, conversion courses for outdoor referee's and refresher courses on rule changes.
Referee's provide a valuable service to the community who are involved within the sport. Becoming a referee also provides many valuable personal development opportunities as well as a great source of income. Our minimum age to become a referee is 13.
Costs to Referee: 1. Futsal Toowoomba referee courses are currently free to all participants. 2. You will also need a uniform which we strongly recommend 3. You will need a FFA rule book which is $15.00.
Once you have completed the Futsal Toowoomba F.F.A. referee course you will have achieved the following skills:
- The creation of routines
- Educational and psychological expectations
- Preparation and completion of all types of Futsal forms and documents
- How to deal with emergency situations
- A comprehensive understanding of the rules
Once you have succesfully achieved your FFA referee license, Futsal Toowoomba will then negotiate with you game's to officiate via our office.
As a Futsal Toowoomba referee, you will also be encouraged and guided by our Futsal Toowoomba - Referee Development Officer. This person will coach, mentor and advise on all technical aspects of being a referee. This person will also be available to field questions, concerns or praise from all Futsal Toowoomba members.
