Venue Information
Albert Park is a 225 ha sporting and recreational area located approximately 3km from the Melbourne City centre. The park has outdoor sporting facilities for touch, cricket, football, soccer, baseball, hockey, lawn bowls, tennis and boating. There are also indoor sporting facilities including courts for basketball, netball, squash, badminton, table tennis and indoor cricket.
How to get there
There are entrances from Albert Road (Melway 2K-G4), Queens Road (Melway 2L-B11) and Fitzroy Street (Melway 58-B8). Parking is available throughout the park and there are trams in Albert Road and Fitzroy Street, and the number 96 Light Rail travels along Canterbury Road from the city.

Competition Details
Competition will consist of round robin play with elimination finals. Finals procedure will be determined on completion of registrations. Teams will be seeded by their own declaration and/or past performances.
Each match will consist of two twenty-minute halves with a five-minute half time break.
Teams are expected to have a minimum of four full games plus finals. Teams will play no more than 3 games on any given day.
Team Composition
Teams may consist of no more than 14 players, with only seven allowed on the field at any one time. This approach has been taken because this is the structure that is used in a majority of Masters competitions. A maximum of four men are allowed on the field during mixed competition, with mixed teams to be comprised of at least one male. Teams must have 5 players, or more, before the game can commence.
Player Eligibility
Players are eligible to nominate for and play in only one team per category (eg. For one team in Men 35-39 and one team in Mixed 30+)
Player Substitution
Players may substitute at any time in accordance with the interchange procedure. There is no limit to the number of times a player may interchange.
Player Attire
By the commencement of the competition all participating players are to be correctly attired in team uniforms, with numbers. Teams are not permitted to wear white playing shirts under any circumstances. Shoes with screw-in studs or cleats are not allowed. Light leather or synthetic boots with soft moulded soles are permitted, provided individual studs are no longer than thirteen millimetres in length (measurement taken from the sole of the boot).
Competitors are to remove all jewellery including watches, which might injure other players during the course of the Game. Long or sharp fingernails must be trimmed or taped.
Competition Standards
The touch competition at the Games will be conducted under the auspices, rules and regulations of the Australian Touch Association and will conform to any special requirements of the International Masters Games Association (IMGA).
The Victorian Touch Association will conduct the competition.
