What are the rules about uniforms?
Playing clothing will normally consist of a short-sleeved shirt and shorts or skirt, socks and playing shoes. Other garments such as tracksuit pants can't be worn during play except with referees permission. The main colour of a shirt, skirt or shorts other than sleeves and collar of a shirt shall not be orange.
Which balls will be used in competition?
40mm Orange Balls(brand to be confirmed)
Are there any practice facilities?
What is the format of the competition?
Singles will be a round robin format with groups of 3 or 4 players, with the top 2 in each group going through to the main draw.The other 1 or 2 players will go to a consolation event.
The Doubles will be a straight knockout format.The Teams event will be a round robin with groups of 4, 5 or 6 with the top 2 or 3 in each group going through to the main knockout draw.During the groups phase matches will be played in full, however during the knockout phase matches will only be played until a winning result has been achieved.
What is planned for the Teams event?
4 singles and 1 doubles event in round robin. A maximum of 6 teams will be in each group with up to 3 going through to the playoffs.
