NETBALL NZ COACH DEVELOPING MODULES hosted at netball centres around the Wellington region.  Courses now available in all five centres – feel free to travel to attend wherever & whenever convenient.  Cost: $25 per course or attend 4 courses anywhere in the Zone and attend 5th for FREE!

Planning* - Fri 17 March 2017 6.00pm – 8.00pm

Skill Analysis* - Wed 22 March 2017 6.00pm – 8.30pm

Team Building* - Thu 30 March 2017 6.00pm – 8.30pm

Shooting* - Wed 19 April 2017 6.00pm – 9.00pm

Centre Pass** - Wed 26 April 2017 6.00pm – 8.30pm

Circle Work ** - Wed 17 May 2017 6.00pm – 8.30pm

A great opportunity to upskill your knowledge-base and network with like-minded coaches.  Recommended to first complete the Player Centred Coaching (PCC) pre-requisite module then feel free to pick and choose modules of interest at your leisure and at a location that appeals to you (see attachment for modules being run throughout the Zone's netball centres). 

Please note: If mid-way through the former Community Coach Award, you must complete the original five modules (Player Centred Coaching, Communication & Managing Others, Planning, Skills Analysis and Team Building) by 31st January 2017 to gain accreditation under the previous system. 

All are welcome to attend modules of interest for personal development.  Those interested in gaining nationally recognised Netball NZ accreditation for your efforts may like to consider a focus on progressing towards completing the following newly revamped nationally recognised awards:

Community Coach Award I (* denotes CCA I module) consists of 10 technical modules: Player Centred Coaching, Communication & Managing Others, Planning, Skills Analysis, Team Building, Selecting, Ball Skills, Attack 1, Defence 1, Shooting

Community Coach Award II (** denotes CCA II module) follows on from CCA I with seven additional tactical modules: Fit for the Season, Game Analysis, Mental Skills, Planning Annual Tournaments, Through Court, Centre Pass, Circle Work

Performance Coach Qualification (PCQ - formerly Performance Coach Award/PCA) follows on from CCA II with seven additional modules: Advanced Mental Skills I & II, Advanced Skill Acquisition I & II, Advanced Game Analysis, Advanced Performance Planning, Enhancing Performance

High Performance Coach Development (HPCD) – follows on from PCQ and consists of six additional modules: Leadership, Performance coaching, Performance Planning, Systems & Structures, Strategy & Leadership, Learning & Development
