Hi everyone,

Our FAST5 Ferns claimed the FAST5 Netball World Series trophy for the sixth time in Melbourne. It was awesome to see the good old kiwi ingenuity come into play and holding the Australians scoreless in their powerplay was a highlight for me! Well done to Kiri Wills and her management team, along with Maria for her leadership of this young team.The 2016 New Zealand Netball Awards were held last week at the iconic Auckland War Memorial Museum, where excellence at all levels of Netball were honoured and celebrated. Congratulations to all award winners.

We also hosted our inaugural Captains Call for past Captains of the Silver Ferns. We have had just 26 Silver Ferns Captains since 1938 and it was a great opportunity to get this special group of leaders together and talk all things Netball!
