Expression of Interest
2015 NETBALL ASSISTANT COACH – SENIOR A St Mary’s College is a recognised leader in Netball regionally and nationally. Netball is the largest sporting code at the College and we offer many opportunities for players of all levels.
Our Senior A team is regularly amongst the top teams in Wellington and New Zealand and in 2012 finished 3rd, 2013 winners, and 2014 finished 2nd at LNISS, again qualifying them for the New Zealand Secondary School National Competition.
We are currently seeking Expression of Interest from coaches for the 2015 season for the Assistant Coach position to work alongside the current coach for the Senior A team.
The successful applicant will be suitably qualified, enthusiastic and experienced to coach. They will also have excellent technical, organisational and interpersonal skills. They will have a sound understanding of secondary school netball and the ability to work effectively in a team environment whilst understanding, supporting and a commitment to the special character of the school. Hours are variable, but it is expected that the commitment will be between 5-8 hours per week and it is a voluntary position.
The commitment requires attendance at trainings, games, winter tournament week and National tournament week.
