Competition Details
The format will be a round robin, and will not be finalised until team entries are known. However, it is anticipated that there will be six teams in a pool, allowing five games plus a final. Alternatively there will be pools of eight, with seven games plus finals. Competition in all age groups will be ungraded.
All games will be twenty-five minute halves, this may be reduced to accommodate all teams, depending on entries.
Teams are permitted to have up to 16 members.
Uniform
Team colours, including shirt, socks, shorts / skirt are to be noted on the entry form. Teams must also bring an alternate strip, and notify accordingly. Teams will be advised at the pre-tournament managers' meeting when they will be required to wear the alternate strip.
All players are required to have their number on the back of their shirts except for goalies who must have their number on the front of their shirt. The minimum size for numbers is 20cm.
Competition Standards
The hockey competition at the Games will be conducted under the auspices, rules and regulations of the International Hockey Federation. Competition will conform to any special requirements of the International Masters Games Association (IMGA).
Practice Facilities
Practice facilities will be available at the venue, prior to the commencement of competition with courts available for hire by teams. There will also be a number of other suburban venues available for practice with the intention of arranging these venues close to team accommodation.
Other Information
Equipment supplies will be available on site at the venue from the Pro Shop.
