VIDEO| Redlands Shoot Down High-flying Jets

Redlands United have ended Moreton Bay United's undefeated start to the season with a hardfought 3-1 victory at Cleveland Showgrounds on Saturday night in the feature game from round 4 of the National Premier Leagues.

Graham Fyfe scored the opener from a free-kick in the final minutes of an occasionally spiteful first half, his left-footed strike floating into the far top corner of the goal to strand the goalkeeper.

Ramone Close extended the home side’s lead on the back of a well-worked team goal in the second half, a series of swift passes allowing the attacking midfielder to finish from close range.

Fyfe then snared his brace from the penalty spot before the hour to effectively seal the result for the hosts.

Jets striker Brownlie steered home a well-placed header into the Jets a sniff of a comeback late on, but Redlands held firm to claim bragging rights in the first meeting between the two bayside clubs.
