Nominations are now open for the 2017 Westfield FFA Cup Competition.  Football Queensland now invites Affiliated Clubs with Senior Premier Men’s teams in all Zones with the exception of Football Brisbane to nominate.  Only one team per club is permitted entry in to the Competition.
Preliminary Round Format - Football Queensland is responsible for conducting the Queensland Preliminary Rounds of the competition and identifying four (4) winners to represent Queensland in the Round of 32 stages.

  
The Preliminary Rounds will operate under the same national structure, whereby Club entry into the Round of 32 will be decided from Round 7 in each Member Federation.  FFA will then administer the Round of 32 onwards where we will see our four (4) qualifying Queensland clubs drawn against opposition from around the country, including Hyundai A-League Clubs.

In Queensland, due to travel distances and time restraints, it is intended (depending on nominations) that the Preliminary Rounds of the competition will be divided into three (3) pools.
Pool Incorporating Number of Qualifiers to Round of 32 Northern Queensland  Far North Queensland, North Queensland, North West Queensland, Mackay and Regional and Central Queensland Zones 1 Southern Queensland  Wide bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and South West Queensland Zones 1 Metro  Brisbane Zone 2
 
Each Zone will be required to play Rounds 1 to 5 within the nominated playing windows.   Round 6 and 7 will be played at designated times with the exception of the Metro Region.   PS4NPL Queensland Clubs will join the competition in Round 5.    Inter-region travel is required to determine the clubs who will progress through to the Round of 32 stages.  Clubs should be aware that some mid-week games may be required.

Player Registration - If your Club is successful and accepted to participate into the Westfield FFA Cup 2017 Preliminary Rounds, you will be required to register your Players on MyFootballClub (including uploading of a photo) prior to commencement of the competition.
