Friday night's Junior Grand Finals were full of goals, excitement, noise and drama. Plenty of football fans turned up to cheer on their teams, but also many fans turned up to just watch the finals unfold.

The evening started with the U12's final between Clinton Crocodiles and Clinton Carnivores and this match set the standard for the evening. There were plenty of goals for the crowd to see as the score finished 6-2 in favour of the Crocodiles.

The U14's final was a tight tense affair with both teams playing attacking flowing football. Clinton and CQ Mariners kept the crowd on their feet for the entire match and the final score reflected how close the game was, it finished 2-1 to the Clinton Cruisers.

U15's girls final was a nerve shredder as plenty of entertaining football was played but both teams were unable to find a way past the goalkeepers. The match went all the way to penalties and the great displays from the goalkeepers continued into the penalty shootout. Clinton Coyotes eventually won 4-3 on penalties.

The evening finished with a bang! The U16's final delivered a gripping game that was described by one fan as "skilful, entertaining and bruising." Clinton and Central let it all go on the field and botch teams fought for inch to try and win. At full time it was 1-1 and went all the way to penalties. Central managed to come out on top winning 5-4 on penalties.
