We are at the half way stage and the top three teams have created a small break from the rest of the teams. Upsets will have to be the order of the day this weekend as the teams in the top half clash with those at the other end of the table.

Emerald v Bluebirds - Emerald Football Club at 4.00pm. Emerald had their third win on the weekend while Bluebirds were given a bit of a lesson by Nerimbera. Emerald will be full of confidence, but the Bluebirds team will be keen to attone for the loss. Otherwise it will be a long trip home. Bluebirds to win.

Capricorn Coast v Frenchville - Apex Park at 7.00pm. Cap Coast really seem to be struggling at the moment, Frenchville, on the other hand, can do no wrong. Frenchville will be looking to consolidate their position at the top and possibly boost their goal difference. Frenchville by at least a couple.

Clinton v CQFC Energy - Clinton Sports Ground 7.00pm. Clinton will be smarting from the loss to Frenchville, but the Energy will be licking their wounds after the thumping from Southside. The Energy need to find some form soon or end up losing contact with the top four. Unfortunately they have to face a Clinton side who will not be in a charitable mood. Clinton to win.

Southside v Nerimbera - Jardine Park at 7.00pm. This could be the match of the round given the solid wins last weekend by both teams. If Southside show the same form, they could trouble Nerimbera, but Nerimbera sent a not too subtle message to the other teams with their demolition of Bluebirds. Nerimbera to get up. 

Central v Berserker - Sun Valley at 7.00pm. Central will be pleased with the win at Cap Coast, while Berserker were overcome by a determined Emerald. Central are hanging in there, just outside the four, and will be counting on wins against teams that are lower than them in the table. Berserker needs a change in fortune, but Sun Valley may not prove to be the place it will start. Central by a couple.
