Notice of Annual General Meeting

The 2015 Annual General Meeting of Northern Suburbs Basketball Association Inc., will be held at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, on Wednesday 3 June 2015, at 6.30pm.

The business to be transacted at the AGM is:

1.       Confirm the minutes of the last AGM, held on 11 June 2014;
2.       Receive from the NSBA Board reports upon the activities of the Association in the last preceding financial year (1 Jan 14 – 31 Dec 14);
3.       To declare the result of the election of the following positions for Directors on the NSBA Board:
          a.       Vice-President
          b.       2 Ordinary Board Members.
4.       Receive the statements and reports which the Association is required to submit to the AGM pursuant to s44 of the Associations Incorporation Act, 2009;
5.       Declaration of any Life Members.
6.       Any matters requested in writing from an NSBA member at least 21 days prior to the AGM

Nominations for election to the NSBA Board or Life Membership or notice of a matter to be raised at the AGM must be received by the NSBA CEO by 5pm on Tuesday 12 May 2015.

Nominations for election to the NSBA Board must be signed by two members (other than Junior Members) and must be accompanied by the written consent of the nominee.

Nomination forms and the criteria to be eligible for election to the NSBA Board or nomination for Life Membership are available to view within the NSBA Consitution or at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre.
