2014 NSBA Annual General Meeting

The 2014 Annual General Meeting of Northern Suburbs Basketball Association Inc., will be held at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, on Wednesday 11 June 2014, at 6.30pm.

Voting for the board of directors has opened, with all NSBA members eligible to vote receiving emails on 27/5/2014. If you did not receive an email and believe you are eligible to vote, please contact Michael Haynes on 9906 7877.

Voting has also opened on the proposed change of consitution for NSBA. Further information regarding this change, including the new consitution and a summary of all changes can be found here.

An outline of all business to be transacted at the AGM is outlined below:

  1. Confirm the meetings of the last AGM, held on 22 May 2013;
  2. Receive from the NSBA Board reports upon the activities of the Association in the last preceding financial year (1 Jan 13 – 31 Dec 13);
  3. To declare the result of the election of the following positions for Directors on the NSBA Board:
    • President;
    • Finance Director;
    • 2 General Member.
  4. Receive the statements and reports which the Association is required to submit to the AGM pursuant to s44 of the Associations Incorporation Act, 2009;
  5. Declaration of any Life Members.
  6. By special resolution, to declare the result of the poll to amend the NSBA Constitution.
