Information For New Players
Malvern Netball Club is part of the Waverley District Netball Association.
Games are played on a Saturday at the Ashwood Courts, corner Cassinia Avenue and Farmer Street, Ashwood
WDNA organizes their competitions into Age Group and Open Sections. There are two seasons played each year, a winter season of 14 rounds from late February with finals held in August, and a Spring Season of 10 rounds from early September, with finals held in December.
Our youngest teams are Grade 3 teams.
We provide “Introduction Malvern Netball Club” sessions held at lunchtime in the Recreation Centre at Malvern Primary in Term 4, for Grade 2 students who are interested in playing netball for our club in the following year. We post details of these sessions close to the date.
Training for primary aged students is held before school at Malvern Primary School.
We also offer an evening training session for players who do not attend Malvern Primary School.
