Roster Rules & Instructions Persons who did not perform their duty at the previous month's rally will be rostered on again.
Members rostered on for duties are required to arrive at Pony Club around 9.00 am, settle their horse/pony and then report for duty. These members are then expected to perform their allotted task. This does not mean moving one jump wing if you are on set up/pack up, standing talking to your friends in the middle of the arena while others set up the jumps, avoiding cleaning up the compound or pretending the toilets do not need cleaning. Each member who is rostered on for duty is to do his or her fair share.
MEMBERS WHO ARE ROSTERED ON FOR DUTY AND ARE PRESENT AT RALLY WHO DO NOT PERFORM THEIR ALLOTTED JOB WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN THE RALLY. THIS MEANS - YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE FOR THE ENTIRE DAY.
This may seem severe, however it will only affect those who are happy to take part in the fun activities at Pony Club without sharing the not so fun jobs that need to be done. The rostered duties are the responsibility of the children - the parents are only there to give a helping hand.
A "Rosters Book" will be located on the bench under the notice board. It is up to the rostered individual to sign off against their name. Set up / pack up will have both a.m. and p.m. signatures. If a signature does not appear beside your name at the end of the day, we will assume you have not done your duty and you will be rostered on for the next rally.
Duties: COMPOUND Arrive at 9.00am to clean the compound and toilets.
Duties: SET UP and PACK UP Arrive at 9.00am to set up rings, showjumps and other equipment. Pack up all equipment at the end of the rally.
