Our Junior rep teams participate in the VJBL competition which plays against other junior clubs across Victoria on a Friday Night.

We enter boys and girls teams in age groups from Under 12's through to Under 20. The program is designed for players who want to work hard and achieve a higher standard in their basketball.

 

Season Information

The Season runs for a full year. 

 

Registration Process

All players participating in the VJBL Competition at Doncaster are now required to register online via PlayHQ.  They must pay their insurance component to BV (while you are registering) then payment for registration using the playHQ site.

 

All fees are due before the commencement of the first game.  

 

 Standard Registration Fees

1st Player Registration                        $600.00 

2nd Player Registration                       $570.00

 

 

Age Groups

 

Players born in 2017 or later are not eligible to play VJBL in the 2024/25 season

 

 

 

Under 12 – eligible players must not turn 12 in 2025; they are born in 2014, 2015, 2016

 

Under 14 – eligible players must not turn 14 in 2025, they are born in 2012, 2013

 

Under 16 – eligible players must not turn 16 in 2025, they are born in 2010, 2011

 

Under 18 – eligible players must not turn 18 in 2025, they are born in 2008, 2009

 

 

 

Walkover Fines

 

If your team gives a walkover, the fine received from Basketball Victoria will be passed onto the team to pay.  This fine must be paid before the next game. 

 

 

Refund Policy

Registration refunds for withdrawals will only be given for medical reasons and a medical certificate must be provided, a $90 administration fee will apply.
