Championship or representative basketball is a competition for boys and girls in age groups from U12's to U20's. The Victorian Junior Basketball League administer the competition which is held on Friday nights.
This program is aimed at developing players and coaches to the highest of their ability, and requires a high level of commitment from players and coaches.
The Doncaster Panthers Junior teams play against teams from across Melbourne. Teams play at three levels:
Victorian Championship: Known as "VC', and is the highest level at which junior teams can play
VJL 1-4: Teams that do not qualify for VC will play in these divisions.
VJL 5-8: This is designed for younger players to gain experience in playing "rep ball"
