The Wolfpack is always looking for casual staff to assist us in a number of areas in our association. Lately we have (like everyone) been hit with staff shortages due to COVID and need a constant, reliable team of people to join our casual pool of staff. As our membership and offerings grow, so too does our need for human resources. If you are interested in an ongoing role or just one to help out short term, we would love to have you join the Pack.
Games Operation Staff
Overall Position Objective
To be the primary point of contact for teams and patrons on game day for all Wanneroo Basketball Association Domestic Competitions and WABL.
Form relationships with various Domestic & WABL Competition stakeholders and facilitate effective administration of Domestic and WABL Competitions on game days (weeknights and weekends) across all Wanneroo Basketball Association venues.

NBL1 GAME DAY OPPORTUNITIES
We are looking for a talented team to help us bring our Wolfpack home games to life as we draw nearer to the 2023 NBL1 West season. We have a list of Paid positions available below!

Bar Staff:
- Must be RSA certified
- Responsibly serve customers and manage bar operations
- Stock fridges and maintain bar cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service
Statistician:
- Must be at least Level 1 qualified
- Accurately record all actions for both teams during the games
- Use the NBL1 specific software to electronically record all statistics
- Conduct yourself in a professional and friendly manner.
Front Door - Ticket Sales:
- Sell tickets to patrons at the door on game day
- Use our ticketing system to select between ticket types and reserved seating (if applicable)
- Print customer tickets
- Must be proficient with technology and able to learn new systems quickly
- Provide excellent customer service
VIP Door Entry:
- Greet and welcome all VIP patrons
- Scan all VIP tickets and allow patrons entry to the stadium
- Advise and direct traffic to the correct entry points when applicable
- Provide excellent customer service
Ushers and Ticket Checkers:
- Greet and welcome patrons to the venue
- Ensure patrons entering the area have the correct ticket type and seating allocated
- Assist with crowd control and traffic flow of fans
- Provide excellent customer service
Set-Up and Pack-Down:
- Set up Corporate Boxes, seating areas and team benches
- Set up pop up bar, entry and exit areas and other function areas
- Set up signage and required equipment
- Must be flexible with hours and available to work during the day, late at night and/or during the week
- Pack down at the conclusion of the last game of the day
- Put away seating, signage, equipment etc and return the stadium to its original set-up
- Must be able to complete physical tasks and heavy lifting may be required.
Game Announcer:
- Shadow and learn the role from one of the best in the business!
- Create a link between the game and the fans
- Provide commentary, play appropriate music, announce in-game info and interact with the crowd
- Announce game break sponsors and promotions
