VCFA Seniors and Womens Cup Competitions
The VCFA Cup competitions commence for Seniors D1-4 and for Women D1 on 3rd June.
The fixtures have been published to the VCFA Sportingpulse website.
Format is as follows – All are Knockout – All games are 2 x 45 Minutes – If scores are tied at conclusion of 90 minutes there is NO EXTRA time – games to be decided by Penalty Shootout (PSO).
Gwen Wright Shield – contested by WPL – 8 teams – 3 rounds – 1st 2 rounds mid-week night matches - 16 Sept (Final).
Parry Shield – contested by PL – 8 teams – 3 rounds – 1st 2 rounds mid-week night matches - 16 Sept (Final).
Arnold Visser Cup – contested by PLRes – 8 teams – 3 rounds – 1st 2 rounds mid-week night matches - 16 Sept (Final).
Gwen Wright Cup – contested by WD1 - 9 Teams – 4 rounds – 1st round - 3 June - is qualifying between 8th & 9th placed teams remaining teams have bye; 22 July; 9 Sept; 16 Sept (Final).
Parry Cup – contested by SD1 & top 6 of SD2 – 4 rounds – 3 June; 22 July; 9 Sept; 16 Sept (Final).
Presidents Shield – contested by remaining 4 in SD2, all SD3 and top 2 of SD4 – 4 rounds – 3 June; 22 July; 9 Sept; 16 Sept (Final).
Presidents Cup – contested by remaining 8 teams in SD4 – 3 rounds – 22 July; 9 Sept; 16 Sept (Final) – Note: 3 June (bye round for all).
No Cup competition for SD5 & SD6.
Reminder: ALL PLAYERS ARE CUP TIED ONCE THEY HAVE PLAYED FOR THE TEAM THEY ARE NAMED IN.
