Skills Acquistion Program 

A key aspect of the Football Federation Australia National Curriculum is the implementation of a Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) to perfect and accelerate the skill development of identified players at the critical ages of 9 to 13. This is the age group universally acknowledged to be the optimal mental and physical phase in which children are able to learn motor skills.

Gippsland has three Skill Acquisition Program open to Boys and Girls running (Central, East & South Gippsland Programs) which is coordinated by GUFC.

Southern United FC  is a provider of talented player football programs for women and girls in Melbourne's south east.

We provide an environment where women and girls can achieve high levels of skill and competition in an inclusive and professional environment in the National Premier League (Victoria).  Our focus is on developing talented female footballers and providing clear pathways for them to reach higher levels of competition at state and national levels.

Our state-of-the-art pavilion and home ground in Clyde North provides access and opportunities for women and girls in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs and regional surrounds.  We foster close relationships with community clubs and offer the chance for talented players to take their game to the next level.
