Fortuna 60’ appoints club stalwarts for 2015 season

Fortuna 60’ is excited to announce the appointment of Mauro de Luca to the position of senior coach for the 2015 season. Mauro has been involved multiple league championship sides for Fortuna 60’ since the 2000 season and was a captain of the four-peat sides of 2003-2006. He brings with him a wealth of passion and playing experience that club President Dion Tanti sees transferring into on-field success over the coming seasons. Mauro’s short term goals are to build a focused and tight knit team with a particular focus on developing a sustainable senior playing group into the future by utilising up and coming youth at the club. Mauro’s ultimate goal would be to see Fortuna 60’ be the first club in the GSL to have the converted star on its strip that represents ten league championships.

Assisting Mauro as senior assistant coaches are Mark Tanti and Braydon Dunne.

Mark brings a wealth of training knowledge and commitment via his previous roles as youth and junior coaching appointments at Fortuna 60’. Mark is also committed to the technical side of training and playing and is sure to be an asset to Fortuna 60’ for the 2015 season.

Braydon Dunne commences his senior coaching journey back at the club where he tasted success with multiple league championships. He displays a maturity beyond his years and comes from a strong football pedigree which is sure to appeal to the up and coming youth players and also allow him to obtain the respect of all those around him.

Pre-season training commences on 13 January and the three coaches would like to extend an invitation to any interested players to attend the Crinigan Road Reserve on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6pm for an exciting and innovative pre-season.
