Additional Under 11 Gippsland Squad for Country Championships.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Under 11’s team to represent the Gippsland Soccer League – Central Division, at the upcoming Country Championships that will be hosted in Traralgon on the weekend of June 29, 30 & July 1st. This is the first weekend of the school holidays. The competition will be against other Gippsland regional teams and possibly other regional teams from Country Victoria. All players registered with a GSL team will be eligible to trial and the coach will be looking to select 16 players for the weekend.

ELIGIBILTY
Players must be registered to a GSL club and be born in 2002 or later. This is open for both males and females.
TRIALS
We have scheduled 2 trial dates which will be held at Fortuna 60’s home ground, Crinigan road Morwell. Please bring along a drink bottle, shin pads and appropriate gear on the day/s.

SELECTION
There will be an expectation that if selected that a weekly training session leading up to the tournament will be required. The time and venue for these sessions will be determined once the players are selected.
COST
Cost for the tournament has been kept minimal due to the Gippsland Soccer League covering all entry fees and referee fees. We will use a club strip to not burden parents with the cost of another strip. The costs associated will be limited to travel to trainings and the tournament in Traralgon.
