Bendigo v Ballarat Futsal Inter-League Tournament
First Inter-league Futsal Tournament a great success.
Building on the increased local involvement in futsal this season the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League and the Australian Futsal Association worked together to develop the first ever Inter-league tournament between Bendigo and Ballarat. Last Sunday 63 local futsal players travelled to the Ballarat Futsal Centre in Wendouree to compete with teams from Ballarat. 17 teams from Under 10 Girls through to Under 16 boys participated with Ballarat taking the overall honours in the inaugural tournament 72-31. Ballarat didn’t have it all their own way with one of the Bendigo Gold Under 12 Boys winning their division. It was a great opportunity for Bendigo players to test themselves against some excellent competition.
