Known as the "Discovery phase", this grassroots course is an introductory three hour course designed for coaches training 5-9 year old players.
The three-hour course will be fully practical and will encourage the coach to develop practices that are based on fun. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by playing football. No coaching but organising fun football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game.
The course will commence at 10:00am and conclude around 1:00pm and can also be used as an introduction to the sport for parents who are not familiar with the intricacies of the round ball code.
