The Greater Geelong Galaxy (Girls) committee are seeking applicants to join their coaching group.

Galaxy is seeking applications from suitably qualified coaches (who hold a Youth License as a minimum) as well as youth female players who aspire to develop their coaching skills to fill the following vacancies:

Under 12 Girls Coach

Under 12 Assistant

Under 14 Girls Coach

Under 14 Assistant

Under 16 Girls Coach

Under 16 Assistant

Under 18 Girls Coach

Under 18 Assistant

Galaxy would especially like to receive applications from coaches who:

• Are committed to and have a passion for coaching and developing young female players
• Have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum
• Are able to commit to the trial process to be held in November 2014 and then the 2015 Metropolitan Season, including training two nights per week plus match days

Information to consider:

• Applicants cannot coach their own children
• Appointments will be made by the Technical Director of the Club
• Players selected will only be allowed to trial and play in the age group that they are eligible for. There will be no “playing up” an age group unless approved by the Technical Director.
• Trial Dates as they currently stand – November 10th and November 12th
• All written applications stating FFV Coach ID number, Working with Children’s ID number, A ranking of preferred age groups from 1-3, as well as a coaching CV(resume) and a small blurb on your coaching philosophy need to be emailed to : geelonggalaxygirls@gmail.com placing “ Coaching Application for Greater Geelong Galaxy Girls 2015 Metropolitan Competition” in the subject line.
• Applications close on October the 30th @ 5pm. Successful Applicants will be notified by October 31st.
• Interviews are scheduled for Monday 3rd November (evening) at Howard Glover
