After a period of time where the club found itself without a Tech Director due to Mike Cooper’s departure in joining the FFV the club went about reviewing its requirements for the short and longer term. Football Manager Josip Zilic said, “Although there were applicants from all over the globe we wanted to maintain a local presence and fortunately for us we didn’t need to go far.

Both gentlemen are highly regarded not only in Geelong but in football circles all around. We are genuinely excited about the passion they share for the sport which can only be a good thing for the development of the children and the club”.
