Lara Accepted into State League Division 5
Lara Senior Men's coach Kieron Moore was elated when he learned of the clubs accpetance into State League Division 5.
Following a 2-0 win to seal back-to-back Mens Division 1 titles and a power of off-field work, the club was informed on the 16th of January.
Moore cites the off-field work as a real contribution to the clubs acceptance. Placing a priority on Ladies and Special Needs football boosted the clubs stature. Accompanied by new grounds and the development of new change rooms, Lara has been working towards this result for 4-5 years.
Moore also noted the work the club has done to develop referees.
Fixtures for State League will be released in the next month with Round 1 to kick-off on April 6.
