Surf Coast Football Club had yet another successful season, winning four league titles and the club scoring a total of 334 goals in local league competition in 2012.

The club's victorious season does not end there, with four individual players taking home the recently announced FFV Geelong league Best and Fairest Awards.

In the under 12 boys Surf Coast junior Jared Murphy totaled 14 votes and edged out North Geelong, Bell Park, Surfside and Surf Coast team-mate Eros Markoulis on 13 votes to take home the league award.

Surf Coast's under 13 boys Seamus Wakefield was outright winner after a fantastic season amassing 14 votes, marginally taking out the award ahead of Corio Bay's Will Moo Htwa.

Surf Coast continued its success in the junior girls sections. Georgia Gordon capped off a tremendous season winning the under 13 girls award, gathering a total of 15 votes along with Surfside Waves midfielder Caitlin Pickett.

Georgia had tough competition from teammate Ashlee Stavenuiter that finished on 14 votes.

It was a whirlwind season for the Open Women, who were unstoppable in the local league competition. Leading the way for the team was Matilda Myers with a stand out year recording 20 votes, seven votes higher than any other player.

In other league awards Marcus Jablonski also took home the golden boot award in Seniors Division 3 netting 21 goals.

Marcus scored the most of any Surf Coast player this season, in front of under 13 Eros Markoulis (20), Senior Women’s Matilda Myers (20) and under 13 girls Georgia Gordon (15).
