SCONE BASKETBALL AUTUMN COMPETITION 2024

 

 

JUNIOR BASKETBALL

5-8 years  Aussie Hoops  Mondays 5.00-5.45

Please register through the AUSSIEHOOPS link on our website. Aussie Hoops Packs are also available to purchase. 

 It is really important you register through the correct link. (scroll down to bottom of website and find the cartoon basketball with Aussie Hoops written).

If you have your own ball please bring it (remember to put your names on your ball)

 

FOR THE BELOW COMPETITIONS, you will see when registering you can, as an option, buy basketball shorts for $30 to match the singlets, but it is an OPTION not compulsory. 

 

8-10 years mixed competition   Tuesdays from 4pm.

Teams will be made evenly with coaches appointed for each team. Please register through Website with the "Scone Basketball Participation Registrations here" link. 10 minutes of training followed by 2 X 15 min. halves.

Draw will be uploaded on the Game Day App and the team list can be found under "Team Lists" in the Fixtures, Results & Teams tab on our website.

 

11-12 years mixed competition   Wednesdays from 4pm.

Will consist of 2 X 20min halves. Teams will be made evenly. Please register through Website with the "Scone Basketball Participation Registrations here" link. 

Draw will be uploaded on the Game Day App and the team list can be found under "Team Lists" in the Fixtures, Results & Teams tab on our website.

 

13-16 years mixed competition   Tuesdays from 5.40.

Will consist of 2 X 20 min halves. Teams will be made evenly. Please register through Website with the "Scone Basketball Participation Registrations here" link.

9 -16 years  GIRLS Competition   Mondays 4.00-5.00 

Skills, drills & mini games. Teams will be mixed each week. Please register through Website with the "Scone Basketball Participation Registrations here" link.

(Girls can play in both competitions. If your daughter wants to play in both competitions, you will need to contact the club to let us know. If only playing in girls comp, no need to message. Please message Danielle Brown 0407157645.)

We need Parents help to run this Competition. Each age group we are hoping to do 2 x PIC (Parent In charge) to help with run and talk to parents about scoring.

This is your turn to put your hand up to help. The more parents we get to help in each age group the less each parent has to do. Please help your association get this season of basketball up and running.
