REID ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT
The Warriors wish to advise the shattering news that star BIG V player Jeff Reid worst fears were confirmed yesterday. He tore his ACL whilst damaging his MCL and Meniscus in last Saturdays game against Melton.
Adding to the severity of the incident is the news Jeff, 30 has decided to retire from basketball as this is his third major knee injury after 178 games in the BIG V spanning 11 years.
After joining the club in March Jeff is a fantastic club person and highly regarded by his teammates and peers as the league MVP favourite whilst leading the league in scoring.
The BIG V squad will run with the mantra 'Do It For Jeff' for the remainder of the season. #12
