WARRIORS MOVE TO 500
With the long term injury to Sean Armstrong and addition of Jeff Reid in recent weeks, the 'Compare Quotes' Warriors were keen to turn around the dissapointing result at Western Port in round 3 and came in with a real purpose.
Both teams shot the ball at a good clip in the first half and weren’t able to gain any ascendancy as the Warriors went into the locker room down two following a Jeff Reid trey on the half time buzzer. In the second half our guys were able to dictate the tempo of the game which went a long way to the result as their shot selection and scoring spread allowed the team to put 52 second half points on the board.
Post game, it was great to see the squad belt out the song as the guys really enjoyed the win and collectively were proud of their own efforts which is pleasing as they have developed a great camaraderie in a short period.
