Coaches Comment:
It was an outstanding way to open proceedings. All teams preach optimism at this time of the year and one thing we will enjoy is the underdog tag where we go about our business with minimal fuss. I knew that our team were as well prepared as they could be and despite some injuries our depth and structures are a key feature of how we will play no matter who is available or on the court at any given time.

The great thing about our squad is there are no ego’s and one through fifteen know they have an important role to play in our success so it’s just about being ready to take their opportunity when called on. To have 2012 Allstar Nominee Sean Armstrong, blue collar Jay Richardson and dynamic Tim Bydder to still return to the line-up is evidence of this.

To all the fans that came out on the weekend it was a real buzz to have in excess of 100 spectators at both games and we hope you enjoyed the new look squad. It would be great to have everyone jump on board and become members as we enter a new era of Warriors basketball.
